This is an urgent hiring need! You’ll play a vital role, as a LEAD METROLOGY ENGINEER specific to MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING PROCESSES, you will establish processes and procedures to integrate advanced inspection systems that use the most advanced laser / vision based technologies.
We’re seeking an experienced individual who can establish & implement technology-based vision measurement procedures and inspection equipment.
- Partnering with the Engineering, Manufacturing & Quality departments to achieve a production ready environment; include collaborating with suppliers on equipment capabilities.
- Define policies and procedures for capturing production / manufacturing measurements.
- Analyze data to identify integrity & efficiency improvements within the inspection process or operational systems.
- Bring the Equipment on-line for manufacturing – inspection & measurement requirements using MACHINE VISION, OPTICAL METROLOGY, LASER/3D MEASUREMENT Systems etc
- Degreed engineer with technical engineering background in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics etc..
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing work experience
- US Citizen / Perm Resident status required
- Full Time / Direct Hire position - requires that you be onsite
OFFERING: Base salary + 10% bonus + great relocation package to the Saginaw, Michigan region + International travel required
